FIRST GRAND ALUMNI HOMECOMING was held on March 23, 2008 at the Bato Central School grounds. The batch in charge of organizing the 1st Grand Reunion was Batch 74 headed by Jeck Benavidez. However, kudos and accolades will have to be given to Mrs. Edna Rojas Tolledo who dedicated her time and effort for the success of this event. Other batchmates also contributed financially and their time for this event to happen ...

SECOND GRAND ALUMNI HOMECOMING was held on April 12, 2009 also at Bato Central School grounds. This 2nd Annual event was hosted and organized by Batch 75 headed by Irwin Rojas. Also stunningly successful as the previous year grand reunion.

The first ever alumni homecoming of the Bato Central School, Bato, Catanduanes was viewed by many as succesfully organized and well planned, even if it was only conceived two months before the event (see related story).

The 1st homecoming was only for the batch 74  and was organized in Bato and coordinated in Manila. The pre-event was well coordinated with "ever-ringing cellphones" of all the organizers. The Bato-based group was headed by the indefatigable Edna Rojas-Tolledo, a teacher of Bato Central School and Batch 74 graduate. The Manila-based group  was headed by Jeck Benavidez, Batch 74 Valedictorian and President.

Elected Officers during the 2006 Batch 74 Alumni Homecoming:

President: Jeck Benavidez

VP-Manila: Dante Tresvalles

VP-Bato: Edna Rojas Tolledo

Secretary: Belen Joson Bernal

Treasurer: Betty Molina Dizon

Auditor: Sonia Vargas Tanael

Business Mgr: Ludy Tesorero Rodulfo

The idea of electing a set of officers is for our group to have a legal personality. Dante Tresvalles volunteered to have our group registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Belen Joson also is volunteering to have it registered in Legaspi.

As of April 2009, there has been no election yet as to who will succeed these officers. We hope to relinquish these positions by next year's Annual Homecoming.
